One Piece: World Seeker will launch in Japan exclusively for PS4, but Bandai Namco is going to release the game on more platforms in the west. North America and Europe will also get the game for Xbox One and PC in 2018. At the moment there is no precise release date, and the game was not at E3, but we’ll probably hear more down the line. One Piece World Seeker is a third-person action-adventure video game based on the manga and anime series One Piece. One Piece World Seeker features an open world environment where players get to play as Monkey D. The characters that are included in One Piece World Seeker are Akainu, Kizaru, Kuma, Tashigi, Smoker, Sabo, Rob Lucci, and Ichiji, Niji, Yonji from Germa 66 and the entire.

Legitimately his Great Eruption should've been much larger and caused much more widespread damage, and a fight Luffy that when on for any great length of time should completely alter the rest of the island.
Mind you if I was designing it then it would just unlock different locations and close others from before and after you fight him, so the battle would be a major turning point for the game world. Quick thoughts upon seeing the gameplay. It's surprisingly slow and non-kinetic. I don't get a very smooth feeling of motion from any of the combat or animation, it all feels.off. I appreciate what they're doing, I personally really kind of liked the Unlimited series and this feels like a natural evolution of that, but it feels like it needs some juice, ya know? Everything feels like it takes just a bit longer than it should to happen, you want a game like this to feel fast paced and snappy to feel rewarding and actually make you want to fight. The fights against regular marines aren't engaging because you're doing all these flashy and long winded combos to take one 1 or 2 opponents instead of groups of them.
If they were going for a more Dark Souls 'every enemy is a potentially dangerous encounter', they failed since it doesn't take much to beat them except a lot more time then it should, plus add in regenerating health and a huge health bar and you aren't really in much danger. IF they were going for the dynasty warriors system then why are there so few enemies? The entire high of that system was taking down hordes of dudes, not one or two guys at a time. This goes double to the Sakazuki fight, that looks slow. You'd think such a powerful and mighty character that serves as a boss would be a bit more of a dynamic fight with faster combat and more extravagant attacks.
On that note, little things like Luffy hitting the legs of taller characters instead of targeting the torso make the fights look less impressive, with a quicker/better combat system I might be able to overlook that. And that slow mo every time you beat a horde of enemies needs to go. Like yesterday. That is gonna overstay its welcome and ruin pacing QUICK. If it happened only after like special encounters or challenges then it'd be fine, but EVERY time beat a couple of enemies.
No.All in all, I really do appreciate what they're doing with this game and hope it does well enough to get a sequel to iron out all these issues because I.HIGHLY doubt they'll be fixed this late in development, but I am not looking forward to this one. Shame all the licensed games of series I follow coming out this year are looking to be pretty mediocre.

Luffy should be having problems or expending that much time on single Marine enemies.
Look at Enies Lobby where he was a buzzsaw cutting through far greater numbers and enemy densities. The enemy numbers in their areas should be increased and their health decreased, or these enemies need to show that they have some haki or advanced weaponry and tech. Why are these gun armed enemies hurting Luffy at all?
If its round ball bullets like normal then Luffy should be immune at worst and reflecting them at best. If they're jacketed rounds then he should be able to regen the damage, but that would also give more credence to evading them, and autododging when Kenbunshoku is active.Luffy was throwing Busoshoku Gear Third at those guys. That should be one shotting everyone but Akainu in that demo.Another thing is the pacifista. That was probably alright, but there's not indication on why current generation pacifista are superior to the first run models. First run models that Luffy can annihilate with a single Busoshoku Jet Pistol. And slo mo finishes should only be for something exceptionally cool, though in in close intense melee games like Batman Arkham and Assassin's Creed Syndicate it can be an effective way of letting you know when you've dealt with the last enemy.
Looks incredibly underwhelming tbh, more of the same we've been getting past decades. There are slight variances but like others mentioned there's also new 'issues' it seems to have. I think only dedicated OP fans would actually buy it. It'll probably be talked about for a week or two for its cool animation/story/characters and then be forgotten like the rest. They need to do something out of the norm, like a full open world game with exploration. With expansive story, that you can play through with different characters. I know that's probably asking for a lot but One Piece deserves it for how gargantuan it is compared to the industry. Or a 2.5d fighting game with a massive character catalog.
It can start out small with more added with time, something like DB Fighterz/ BlazeBlue. Those are just my thoughts but it seems like the developers are fine with playing it safe and just giving the same with minor discrepancies.I'd guess its the same reason why the anime quality is low on average, it makes money regardless so why put in more resources and take in extra risk. Click to expand. That very sentiment is why, even though I'm not that big of a fan of Fighting games or DB, I appreciate DBFZ so damn much. Even as an outsider looking in I can tell how much love and effort and attention to detail went into crafting that game, mostly because it was created as a functional and fun game first and a 'Licensed' game second.

Hear me out.How about a series of open world story driven games, think Mass Effect in the Ocean.but starring the other Eight Supernova Captains?
You'd have different starting oceans, different island chains, even different paths through Paradise. They could even each get a fantasy scenario where they follow the Strawhat's journey through Paradise. Their powers are varied enough to give you a substantially different gameplay experience even if you were to run them on the same route. As for a game based on the Strawhats, the same model could still play out. Beat the game once and have them pick out a different route than the Alabasta path. The combat would have to be much faster pace then what's on display in World Seeker. I'd use God of War as the model. Use the D-pad to select what Gear you'd like to Fight in, hold to switch gears, and tap to combine, like use hold Gear Second and tap Gear Third to get a Jet Gigant.I'd actually make Kenbunshoku Haki work the same in the game as in the manga, instead of just slowing time, it actually give you a leader for where the attack is going.
Like the Hadou of Intentions in Street Fighter II V. When Luffy get's the future foresight, it should give you a pause and rewind feature so you can make the perfect response. There's enough lore and information to make a One Piece game of Mass Effect and Arkham aspiration. Hell Mass Effect 2 was basically a pirate story in the One Piece vein.
Get a ship, build a crew, make money, get into trouble, gain your crew's loyalty, travel to foreign an unknown place, go into an unknown that's guaranteed to kill you.PROFIT, come home safe.
